El Toro CA senior Alexis Neuville finished second in the 3-mile girls varsity race in 17:05.3 at the South Coast League finals at Irvine Regional Park in Orange, Calif. Neuville improved from fifth place last season in 17:16.9 to help the Chargers win the team championship with 37 points, giving them three titles in four years, including the Sea View League crowns in 2016 and 2017, followed by a runner-up finish in the South Coast League last season.
